What to expect from us
After receiving me in your home for a quick estimate visit and having met your designated fairy, she will arrive to your house for the first cleaning at the scheduled date and time. She will be responsible for anything concerning the job in your house, and you will be able to connect to her directly, although I will always be reachable when necessary. As it is the first time, the cleaning might take 5 hours or longer, depending on the toughness of the job. Even if you had a housecleaner before us, we might take the same amount of time because we go into details that most of them leave behind and also because we're not used to the house yet.
The following cleanings will take less time because we won’t need to clean the “old dirt”, which is harder to do, will be more familiar with the house and, of course, because we have efficient methods.
Different from many professional cleaning companies and franchises, we actually WASH your surfaces, not only spray and wipe. If you watch any internet video on youtube.com of how companies clean a toilet, for example, you will see that they only spray and wipe it. We don’t. We wash it all over with a sponge, especially if you have kids being toilet trained, for example. I’ve already gone through many materials online on how to train people to work with cleaning and they just don’t suit me. Every house is different and using just one method for all of them is losing quality. Yes, you gain speed and lose quality. That’s why we are so attentive to details that you will always be satisfied with our work. We like to leave your home feeling we had done a great job, not that we rushed all over to finish it fast. Our experience gave us some speed, but we do not skip anything to do it.
A very important thing that we are proud of is that, unlikely many companies and/or independent housecleaners, you will not have a different person every time you are scheduled for a cleaning. It will always be the same people and you will be notified in advanced if someone else is coming as a helper on a special day or on a regular basis.
Besides all of that, we are highly effective in communication, letting you know of schedule changes, late arrivals, supplies that need to be replaced, etc, also trying to change cleaning dates when necessary, answering calls, text messages and emails ASAP, and all of what you can expect of a very well structured organization.
